About Me

I'm Emma Kidd, a passionate creative who brings stories to life as a writer, director, and actor. Currently, I'm expanding my craft, pursuing a Master's degree in Film and Television Production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

My exciting journey in front of the camera has earned me credits from ABC, Lifetime, Snapchat, and a variety of award-winning independent films. These experiences have been invaluable in shaping my understanding of storytelling from every angle.

Behind the lens, my work highlights themes of female empowerment, mental health awareness, and the complexities of human relationships. I recently made my directorial debut with the short film "Paper Moon" (2024) as well as directed the USC short film "Mania" (2025), which stars Lily Sheen and Iesha Daniels. My aspiration is to make meaningful contributions to the world of cinema, sharing stories that not only entertain but also illuminate important topics, and inspire broad audiences.
